His journey began as an intern at Tiger Coaching & Personal Training in 2013 under mentor Gary Bredehoft, CSCS. Nate advanced to Strength & Conditioning Coach, contributing to the growth that led to a 2015 move from Rathbone Village to the current location in Stoneview Center. He later became Director of Strength & Conditioning, further expanding the brand.
Nate is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Certified Special Populations Specialist (CSPS), and USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach. He also holds a TPI Golf Level-2 Fitness Certification, working with athletes of all levels, including state champions, and is SURGE Strength Dryland Certified for swimmer-specific training.
Nate earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Sports Science from the University of South Dakota. He also swam sprint freestyle for the Coyotes Swimming & Diving team. Nate furthered his education as a post-bacc student for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Nate became the Head Human Anatomy Teaching Assistant at UNL - which served to be a good adjunct to his studies in biology, chemistry, and psychology.
His experience includes coaching at Lincoln Southeast High School, roles in cardiovascular stress testing, aquatics direction, and personal training.
